Meet the Staff

 Deborah F. Beam

Debbie spent her first 49 years in Upstate New York thinking that snow was inevitable.

Her background is in small business and the healthcare industry.

She moved to Bluffton with her husband Craig in 2002.  Dr. Shackle hired her in September, 2002 and sold the practice 2 months later to Dr. Jackson.  She doesn't believe she had anything to do with Dr. Shackle leaving but she was never sure.

Debbie and Craig Beam have one daughter and two grandchildren living in New Hampshire.

They belong to the American Volkssport Association, www.ava.org, a nationwide walking club.  They use the clubs events as an excuse to travel and see the United States on foot.  They have completed a 10K self paced walk in all 50 states.  The current goal is to complete a 10K walk in all 100 counties of North Carolina.

Debbie also enjoys reading, cross stitch, and many, many movies.
